Help - Scratched Ribs
Hi guys,
I am in the process of painting my grills. I was filing the chrome parts of the ribs. The second set went well but I was learning on the job on the first set and scratched the inside of some of the ribs. The inside of the ribs are glossy black. Is there a way to repair this? Here is a pic

I am painting the chrome parts a Silverish Black (Gunmetal). I was going to paint the outside of the ribs the same color.
I guess I can paint the ribs flat or semi-glossy black but would I have to sand the sides of the ribs (where the scratches are)
