What to put in e90 empty idrive control?

I did some searches but couldn't find any pics of custom work like gauges in the empty idrive control slot in my non idrive. Anyone know of any custom stuff to put in there?

It's kind of an awkward place to put anything. I don't even like the iDrive knob there....

It's like it was designed for people with 6 inch forearms.

If you're a fan of wrapped interior trim, you could bondo (or similar filling material) over the gap, sand it, then wrap the whole thing in vinyl and it'll look clean.
