I Need The HPFP Recall
Hey guys... I called BMW service just now and found out I am eligible for the HPFP recall. I have the JB3 2.0 in my car now and the BMS DCI..
I would imagine the JB3 needs to be taken out.. what about the DCI?? Also, is anyone able to clear any codes I might have? The appointment is scheduled for April 16th so I have some time. Thanks! Joe

I always take my tune off prior going to the dealer. I've left my DCI on the last 2 visits. SO far so good, but it really depends on your dealership.

Do you guys think I will need any codes cleared? I've been running the JB3 on map 5.

i don't think you will have an issue with codes...i wouldn't be too worried about it if i were you
the hpfp has been dying in tons of stock 335i's...

I just had my car service for the very last time at Rallye. I had the HPFP & "programming" recalls done. I presume they will re-program your car with the hpfp recall which would clear all the codes.

Call any BMW service center and they will ask for the last 7 of your VIN.

do you need the programing updated? I just got fuel injectors and the new fuel pump, I have a jb4 and dci, downpipes, told them I'll bring it back for programing once I disconnect the jb4. Car seems fine though, should I just leave as is, or wait till I get a problem? I oringally brought my car in for a brake job and they talked to me into the fuel pump recall, but I wasn't having problems previously.

I have a 07 335i and so far the only problem I had was the turbos how they used to rattle. They sent me the letter about a recall on the software that may cause me to fail inspection due to pollution lol.
Anybody thinks that this is necessary ? I don't want to go through the hassle of taking stuff out and then getting my car reflashed by giac if it's not needed
