If you do choose to do take apart the headlights, beware that the reflective corners (be they amber or grey) are slightly different on the Xenons and Halogens. We found this out when we took apart the clear reflectors from the halogen headlights and tried to fit them into the xenon ones.

Taking apart the headlight requires a lot of patience and effort as the black plastic that folds around the clear plastic needs to be melted with a heat gun and folded back. There is also adhesive that needs to be melted as well. It takes a bit of finesse and brute force to get these sealed headlights to come apart. So you'll have to keep that in mind. One last possibility would be to take your amber clears out and paint them silver or white, then reassemble your headlight unit.

I have two extra halogen clear headlights, and two US adaptive xenons I intend to play with more.
