Help with Area Code Issue

My 8700c Blackberry paired to the bluetooth without a problem, however I have been running into an issue. If I am in my home town and make a call using my Blackberry to 555-1212 it uses my home area code of 919, ex. (919-555-1212). But if I make a call with the voice command, (dail number 555 1212) it uses an area code of 317?? Is this a config of the voice command system? If so, I can't figure out how to change it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
