Anyone know if this pairing will work?

this Mishi intake comes w/ its own rear turbo inlet. Can you sub a rear MMX for that turbo inlet? IDK. That rear turbo inlet will not** fit/connect to a stock intake system that takes a clip. It uses a silicone connector.

The front turbo inlet connects via a stock style clip sytem to the Mishi and you CAN sub out the front MMX for that.

I've got a car that I run this Mishi system on and use the supplied rear (Mishi) turbo inlet and an MMX front turbo inlet.

Thanks for confirming the MMX front turbo inlet works. I’m guessing you got both since you can’t buy them separately and just utilized the front turbo inlet. Any noticeable change in noise induction (louder)?

Man, A little bit. I think when you let off the throttle - kinda whistling or siren like sound. First few times it happened I kept looking over my shoulder as I thought I had a cop behind me. lol.

The front one usually fits fine.

A few G8X owners on Bimmerpost have this exact combo installed with no major issues. Just make sure you get the right silicone adapter if it doesn't come with the Mishimoto kit.
