Brake pad recommendations!!!
Hey guys so my car has 60,000 miles and my brake pad sensor warning light came on last night that I have to change my pads. Which pads to guys recommend? I don’t track my car so don’t need a track pad. My main gripe is the amount of brake dust from the OEM pads. So for me it would be the pad with the lowest brake dust but still good stopping power that’s safe. It used to be my daily but now really take it out on the weekends and meets/shows/cars and coffee. Thinking about PSI SP1 brake pads vs Isweep vs EBC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They are lower dust than originals, cheaper than iSweep and you can get them FCP euro for lifetime replacements. My car is a daily driver and I don’t track it. If Akebono made brake pads for the G82, those would be my first choice. I have those on my F82 and they’re great for dust and noise. |

I changed stock to EBC Yellow stuff, i am super pleased with them, almost no noise for 2months now, and dust is reduced by 80-90% i would say compared to stock ones. Braking feel and strength is equal to stock i would say. 600€ for the whole set here in Eu

Reds are probably the best application for most people that don't track their cars. They are fairly low dust no noise (ceramic pads), easy on rotors and they perform closely to the OEM pads and are very cheap to replace. Not a track pad. I run these on another one of my cars are they are superb. Silent, low dust and economical.
The yellows dust a bit more and are apparently for more aggressive street driving but also shouldn't be used at all on track for a car as heavy as the g80. Don't understand what the application for these is as the Blue NDX are better than these and come with the same drawbacks but can be lightly tracked. I ran the Blue NDXs on track all last summer (went through two sets) and was generally happy with them given the price. EBC has a ton of info on these on their site.
