Just did my MHD flash the other day and running ots map stage 2 in the multi setup . I’ve got a 24’ 6mt rwd and it’s cutting the rev limiter to 6k for some reason, not letting me get through the full gear each time. I do have it set to 85% power. But it did this even on the regular map 2.
I’ve got catted 200 cell downpipes, full exhaust, intakes, 93 octane. Cars only got 7,500 miles on it.
Even at 100% map power it felt like it pulled harder than stock / my JB4 but that it should pull way harder than it does.

Any ideas?

Try reloading the maps onto the car. Ive seen others fix other issues by doing this.

After doing that log the car and look at knock correction. I also have a manual and can tell you it's night and day compared to the JB4. The jb4 adds boost to the weaker 6mt tune. Now we're on an equal playing field with the comp cars.

To give you a better idea of the power difference. With my 93 jb4 and the 4s tires over 100 deg I mostly had traction in 2nd gear. With the mhd I do a rolling burn out in 2nd and will sometimes spin in 3rd. Peak hp isn't drastically different, but there's 100trq difference for sure. It feels like I went from stock to jb4 again.. jb4 and stacked another jb4 haha


If the tune doesn't fix it then next question I have is spark plugs.. How old? what gap? Log the car and see what it's doing. Logging is crucial

Thanks! I’m waiting to hear back from MHD as well.

I reset the tune back to complete factory — fully warm test runs and it went full rev limit. Then wrote the new file to stage 1 for now to test and right back to the 6,000-6,100 cut off.
Haven’t checked plugs but I’d assume oem as the car only has 8,500 miles on it.

What should I be looking for with the knock? It’s all at 0

I attached two logs - first one (09) was in efficient & second log (10) was sport plus. Both the car was fully warmed up, so its weird that coolant in M2 shows colder (especially because this run came after the effecient pull)
