Nice to see Brembo finally come out with an application for the g8x.

Don’t have experience with these but where do they fall in perspective to isweep2000 and EBC red? Currently have the 2000 but need new pads in a month or two.

Would be curious to hear performance of these vs. the iSweep 2000's as well. Was about to get the iSweeps just now

The TS20 is more performance-oriented than the EBC red and Isweep. Its stopping power is an upgrade over the stock while still minimizing dust and noise.

Are these comparable to the EBC Blues? Do you know the friction coefficient and temp ratings on these?

As far as I know, Brembo has not publicly disclosed specific values for the friction coefficient and temperature ratings. Assumption 0.40–0.45 & Up to 600C

Brembo TS20
Type: Dual-purpose pad (Street & light track)
Bite: Strong initial bite with smooth modulation
Pad wear: Long life under moderate use

EBC BlueStuff
Type: Street-legal track pad
Bite: Very strong initial bite with aggressive feel
Pad wear: Moderate to fast wear, especially on the street

For street cars, the TS20 is the better option. It's a lot quieter, with a lot less dust and longer wear. its also strong enough to be used on the track for light users.
The Bluestuff is for cars that are often on the track and driven very aggressively on the street

Hi Mike. I see they advertise as lower dust than OEM. Any ideas of how much compared to other players in the market? Thanks.

Tough to give you a quantitative answer, the EBC red is best at low dust, but does not have as much stopping power.

the Brembo is a nice middle ground to get you the best of both worlds.

Brembo and low dust shouldn't be used in the same sentence

I just installed these a few days ago on my G82. Was between these and the iSweep 2000 but wanted to give these a shot and Mike hooked up a great deal - as always.

Stopping power feels better than stock and there is 0 squeaking.

Little bit too soon to tell on brake dust, but I can report back end of week to see how the wheels look.

Will be curious to see how these work out, especially compared to IS2000s.

Any updates or pictures? Input vs isweep 2000's (currently running them as well)? Thanks.

TS20 stronger bite and a sportier brake feel

IS2000s slight improvement over stock but not as much as the TS20

I can only compare to Dynamic Frictions which I had previously. No comparison : Brembo’s are night and day better. They feel better than the stock pads too with stronger bite.

Before I ordered them, I asked Mike about Brembo vs isweep and he suggested Brembo; I’m not disappointed at all especially considering Mike’s price was only a little bit more than the isweeps

I wish these would have come out before I bought the EBC Reds from you earlier this year. The EBC reds improved the dust issue significantly, but they aren't as grabby as my stock brembo pads were.

EBC is very popular with customers looking for low dust and noise, without the need for more stopping power.

the TS20 are a step above as they do all that the EBC does + better stopping power than stock

What was the consensus on the dust for the TS20's?

Thanks for this. Are they a step down from stock in terms of performance? Better? Is the noise/squeal compared to the OEM pads noticeably less?

Curious if they develop noise over time. The OEM pads work okay for a day or two after pressure washing the wheels, but as we know it always returns. Keep us posted, thanks!

No noise. Better braking power compared to stock. Zero brake dust visible to me, but I’m also on custom 3-piece wheels; not the stock black BMW ones
