Dealer took deposit in Nov.
So deposit in Nov, called today, said he will know on allocation in 2 weeks. Where would that put me in delivery assuming they have the allotment in 2weeks? No individual paint or interior. Thanks guys. I’m new to this

it will put you nowhere, as it stands you have nothing but someone telling you that you may get an allocation in 2 weeks..

Thanks. This I know. The question was, for people who know, assuming there is the allotment in 2 weeks, without individual color or interior what would be the lead time in that scenario. Thanks for the help in advance to those that actually know.

Last 2 weeks of august people started getting their cars on the east coast. My car stalled for a month in Quality Check and i didnt get it till late September (technically it was deliverable, but I did PCD in October). |

From my understanding (correct me if i'm wrong) the allocation coming out in two weeks is for March build with delivery likely in April, assuming all goes well and also depends east coast vs west.

My car was a week 47 build, and it was about 3 months from when my allocation was confirmed with a build number to when the car landed at the domestic port. From what I've seen, total time in production and transit depends on the car's stay in QC, how long it takes to get loaded at the outbound port/ship availability, and which domestic port it's headed to. The actual production steps generally move along pretty quickly. Good luck with your purchase!

I got my car about 7 weeks from the day I got the allocation, and my order was put in immediately on that day.
I would say that was pretty quick possible for Eastern North America delivery. 7-10 weeks would be a good range/estimate.

Your sales contact can tell you when one is assigned, or you can call the BMW Genius line. You'll give them your production number and they'll be able to tell you.

When do dealers typically get allocations, is it at the end of the month or beginning? I imagine @ds316inya dealer prob got an allocation that was given back in december?

BMW genius says week 8!
The only thing I didn’t see on the build sheet is the 3yr 36 k mile maintenance package. I’m assuming that’s not listed on the build, just follows the vin for dealer purpose? |
