ISO PPF/Ceramic Shop Rec for Southern/Seacoast NH

Trying to find other G8X owners who have real life experience with the various local detailers. Lots of new and/or bad shops so would love to hear what shops are worth the high costs they charge these days. Thanks!

Q car care. I think they have a place closer to you than the Burlington MA one maybe?

Appreciate it, but both locations are fairly far from me. Hoping to find someone in NH or southern Maine maybe.

Bump! For as many G8X as there are here, the community seems to be very quiet on here. Has to be some local folks with recs, thanks!

Here's some data that I captured when I did full front PPF and 4/5 year ceramic back in October - I ended up going with Brilliant Rides in Westford, MA (just over the NH border off Route 3) because they were closer for me and willing to price match Q Car Care. I'm no expert and it's only been a couple of months since I did it, but the owner Dave was extremely polite, accommodating and gave the impression of having expertise given all of the explanations he gave when walking me through everything that they would do and also did when I picked it up.

Brilliant Rides (Ceramic Pro), 48 hour job, $1,295 ceramic, $2,200 PPF, $3,495 total
Tint King (LLumar), 24 hour job, N/A ceramic, $2,265 PPF, $2,265 total
Zaks Auto (XPEL), 72 hour job, $2,800 ceramic, $1,999 PPF, $4,799 total
Q Car Care (XPEL + Ceramic Pro), 48 hour job, $1,350 ceramic, $2,145 PPF, $3,495 total

Hope this helps!

I have seen many just let the dealer do it. Why i don’t know but maybe it is cheaper. I did not ppf my M4 simply because I don’t keep them long enough and do paint correction detailing myself. I have however used this place

https://www.zaksauto.com/paintprotectionfilm

and have recommended them to others here who have asked the same questions. Expensive? Sure but they do great job. It’s about 5 -10 min away from the BMW dealership in Nashua.

Small world story, but I bought a Saab Viggen (awesome car!) from the owners of Zaks Auto like 7-8 years ago lol. Nice people.

Take it to Unique Car Care in Middleton. They’re the best on the north shore. They’ve done two of my cars, and will get my M3 when it arrives in a few months. No one I’ve sent there has been disappointed.

If you want a place that does quality work, you’re going to have to drive a little.

Used Northeast Detailing in Hookset to do their 7 year ceramic on my X3. Clean shop, nice guys, and everything went well. I think they do PPF as well. Would absolutely use them again. Pricing was avaliable online.

Used Automotive Elegance to do a full PPF on my M4. No complaints everything went well. Was my goto rec before I found northeast that’s easier to get to.

They are actually who I am leaning towards going with. How long have you had your ceramic from them? Any issues? Thanks!
