New G80 owner 2023 Base - Palm Beach

Just wanted to say hi! I just bought a lightly used M3 Base in Tanzanite Blue. I m starting with some modest upgrades that should not risk warranty too much! I am up to hear any suggestions

1. MAD Mid-pipe (considering)
2. Rogue SSK - Ordered
3. High Performance Air filter ( not really an upgrade)
4. iSweep1500 pads to replace the dusty, loud OEM stuff.
5. Ceramic coating - done, Ceramic Pro Ion
6. Tint - went with Llumar IRX and love it.

I just installed the MAD mid-pipe. Defining a good and easy upgrade. Nice sound , I am really enjoying it.

Hey, welcome. I currently have a ‘22 G82 in Aventurin red, but my new one should be at the dealer any day now, just waiting on the MP HAS install at the port. Frozen Preciosa red is the ‘25.

I also have a new in box MSS suspension kit that I’ll sell dirt cheap if you’re interested.

@EMMM After washing, I do a light spray of McKees 914 with a Marolex sprayer and then wipe dry with the Exomforma Drying towel. I have not seen scratches.

You need to find another shop. That’s way to much.

I'm gonna do the MP HAS also; I'm too old so sacrifice ride quality to look good.

Funny enough I have EMD in an unopened box.

$1000 installed for a MAD pipe is too much ? Isn’t the pipe alone $700?

1000 installed is a good price. Part and labor.

All done! It was $950 installed including tax. The shop used their own in-house Mid-pipe that is a perfect rendition of the MAD, but made here!

Rogue SSK and CDV Delete- this is a MUST DO! I am having a blast with these short throws and I love the mechanical click into gear.

I am waiting on a new shift knob. It sucks the Cabron Fiber M Performance knob does not fit the G80 without doing some crazy cutting. I wish these manufacturers just made shift knobs screw in and screw out.

Sounds amazing. Has a nice deep classy sports car sound , not ridiculous. I’m 42, not 22- Highly recommend it.

Are you talking about the F8X M Performance shift knob? If so, it’s fairly easy to install and requires maybe 30 mins of your time. All it is is cutting from previous boot and regluing onto G8X shifter trim and voila

would have to have some clips of this...still up in the air of what to go with. Stock exhaust is just so quiet, it's annoying
