2025 LCI M3 Model Light

Which DRL lights is compatible with 2025 LED headlight module and which company is legitimate (Heard BayOptiks uses some alibaba manufacturer and taxes you way more than it actually costs)?

Is it worth switching out to laser or keep it led?

You can’t simply change out the DRLs on the 2025+ models anymore. The headlight assembly has to be opened up to do so now, so it’s not something most people are going to be able to do easily. The new lights truly are a big pos design from both that and looks and performance. Several people have already stated their output is nowhere near the previous Laserlights could do and the look so just meh. BMW should have done dual projectors in them like the M4 race car has on it, but they cheated out and fucked the enthusiasts by making them sealed units and simplifying the tech in them. In my opinion, the old base LED ones were better than these new janky shit.

Wow that sounds shitty that means only way is to replace the whole headlight unit with probably laser and drl right but that's 3k right there

Agreed. The new ones suck ass vs the lasers I had. Huge difference.

I mean there’s one dude (not sure if he’s still banned from here or not) that does the headlight modding to open these up and change to yellow (if that’s what you wanted) but not sure it’s worth all the hassle. Probably cleaner to just buy M4CS yellow ones if you’re that hung up on it and if they’re too much or close to the old lasers in price then just get the old lasers and code them. You’d get the diversity to change the DRLs and the benefits of a much better light output solution from them. It just sucks that BMW is cutting quality to cut costs so much and yet raising prices or keeping them somewhat the same. Feels shady to give us less value for our dollar and call it “progressive advancement”. New lights are a step backwards if you ask me.

Have to 100% disagree.. love looks of the LCI. The prior generation headlights situated the coffin grills was made the whole front of the car look worse.
