Dravit Grey & Full KO Black Calipers Black 826M Exec & Park Assist & M Carbon Exterior Packages Carbon Fiber trim Drive Recorder Galvanic controls M Shadowline Lights Thankfully, I'll be on holiday for a decent amount of December which, I'm hoping, makes the time fly by. Coincidentally, I'll also be in Munich right after Christmas and will do a factory tour (have been to the museum and BMW Welt multiple times but never bothered going to the factory). |

How long did it take you guys to be "Scheduled for production"? I had my order put in over 2 weeks ago but it's still in the "Order received" state. I do have Individual Voodoo Blue color, not sure if that's affecting the timeline.

You will be in Status 111 until a production week is assigned. That could happen tomorrow, or in 1 month. Really no set cadence unfortunately.

Also still in 111... Don't imagine it'll move until closer to week 50. Agonizing wait.

As a data point (week 47 build), my production date was 11/20. I went to 112 on 10/24, 150 on 11/8, and 151 on 11/18. I had a standard color though, so I didn't have the secondary approval for paint in my timeline. Based on the other timelines I've seen here, I'd expect movement starting a couple weeks before your build week.

My car has been stuck on 111 for about a month and just went to 112! Happy to see some movement!

Status 150 here too as of Friday of last week. Should be right on schedule. Anyone have estimates of Delivery time to East Coast US once car has actually entered production. I was thinking 8 weeks. Does that seem right?

The question marks are how long your car stays in QC, and then how long it takes to make it on a boat once it's at the port. It's a little easier to start estimating arrival/delivery times after your car gets on a boat.

Have been stuck in 111 and checked in with my CA. He said the dealer's other M3 orders got pushed back to W4 (so sad... ).
Understandably, I'm a little upset but I mean that's fine I guess. Fished for a discount to make the pain of waiting a little less. He said that the sales manager isn't able to discount M3s below MSRP (is that... true. I know in this market it's tough, but really?) and that he's actually agreed to "remove the $995 charge for ceramic which normally does not get removed for M3 orders". I know dealers love to add on extra stuff like that (even though I'd infinitely prefer to go to a specialized shop) but wanted to check the veracity of that claim as well. Thanks for your knowledge. |

Been stuck at Port now for 10 days. I’m guessing holidays are delaying transport

Yes...the ladies are on a cruise. Still trying to figure out what ship its on, since Genius couldn't tell me yet. After some investigation I've found a few options that would match up with Timeframes.
LYDDEN, TANNHAUSER, or IGUAZU HIGHWAY. Lets see if I'm right once we get confirmation. |
