Does the LCI G80 need fender liner modifications to fit aftermarket flush wheels?

Hey guys, taking delivery of my 2025 M3 soon. I'm planning on getting some aftermarket wheels that'll be flush, I did learn that typically the fender liners need adjustment/trimming to avoid any rubbing. I did hear that the LCI model may have adjusted the design so that this mod is no longer necessary, can anyone verify if that is true? I don't have the car nor the wheels yet so I can't check myself. Additionally, for anyone that has made that adjustment, is it pretty straightforward? I don't really have any experience with these kinds of mods as all of my old cars were pretty boring commuter cars lol. Thank you!

If they modified the liners, it is minimal because they look the same to me.... however I haven't had any rubbing yet with my Pzeros and 15mm front spacers. I don't know if it's because I know how to avoid it when reversing or if they added a touch of clearance with the fins.

With my 2025 M4 Comp running 12.5mm Front and 15mm Rear spacers, I do have some rubbing on the fins while reversing when wheel is turned at certain wheel angles. No issues with rear. Will be modifying the liners soon.

As mentioned it can mostly be avoided if you cut the wheel prior to reversing. From my experience it primarily occurs at a certain angle while reversing.

From some videos i watched the modification looks straightforward. I suspect the hardest part will be overcoming the panic taking a Dremel to a brand new car. I recall seeing on turner? you can buy fenders that have improved clearance but less economical.

I see, so still a bit of rubbing, good to know! And yes, I also saw a thread about an aftermarket part, this is the one I saw
