Finalized pricing with dealer last week, deposited on Tuesday, order officially placed yesterday and production number assigned. Just called the 1-800 number and they told me I’m week 46

2025 X5 M60i British racing green with all 5 options been waiting since first week of June. Build start 46th week. Been thinking if price does not change since I signed in June . I will be pulling the plug. And just buy the X5M instead. Since I waited so long . Don't feel like picking up a brand new truck in the middle of the winter . The new year should bring lower rates etc. etc.

I works for me, but there is a known issue with it and at least one work around is to create a new account.

Agreed! I'm excited for y'all and it's neat to see week 46 movement already. Definitely not going to help my attempts at not compulsively checking my build status, though... Ah well - back to My Garage!

I was wondering why people get the M Alcantara steering wheel. As in what’s the special about it? You have to give up the driver professional package even to get it which I don’t understand that either.

The only thing you lose out on is the Active Cruise Control package, which personally, i'm driving a sports car, i don't intend to use active cruise control. I also believe the car grille looks better without that package. In the end it's all personal preference .

I agree it throws off the look of the front end of the car and like you mentioned it’s not a Mercedes it’s sports car!!!!
