The off-launch control result was telling. It really does feel like different car when you just flat foot the launch vs building even a little boost pre-launch.

Can we stop with the stock Comp X v CS comparison cause there is none? The performance difference may not be worth the money to you but you're modding you Comp X to do what the CS does from the factory. And I get it, the mods do make the Comp X extremely competitive or even faster than the CS but all of you have a tune and downpipe purchased before your Comp X is delivered. And this is not a dig on the Comp X. Put some respect on the CS!!

My friend tested one at one of the New York dealerships, and it did 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and the quarter mile in 10.5 seconds.

BMW was tolling you.
BMW was lying about everything regarding this car.
They even exaggerated its weight.

Something that stood out here is how AWD really makes a difference in time relative to speed. Look at the RWD cars, how they are running similar times as the AWD cars but substantially faster when they cross the 1/4 mile marker. Hell, look at the cheapest, smallest, least powerful BMW M car, the G87, it has the same trap speed, actually sometimes higher mph, than the 671 hp AWD Benz. Hell, I think i've seen it match the M3P at 122. 453 hp my ass lol.
These are fun videos. I'd also love to see Randy Pobst have like 5 laps with each car to get a better understanding of overall dynamics and fun to drive. These cars aren't just about straight line speed but an overall driving experience. Where has he been in all of this?

M3Perf is impressive for the price.

Note to Camissa wrong mode... M3Perf owners run insane mode at drag events(they run 10s all day). Track mode actually pulls power to cool batteries for laps.

As expected. The CS is in 600+hp territory.

But, I am sincerely sad for C63 as a former E30 M3 and MB 190 E 2.3-16 owner - cars that started a 30+ year rivalry.
