Hi all,

New owner of a ‘21 G80 MANUAL M3 and for the life of me can’t figure out how to find where to adjust parking sensor settings?

My problem is, when I park nice and close to something, and the sensor keeps that constant beep to let me know I’m close and in the red zone, it DOESN’T stop even when I engage the parking brake.

Is the car really incapable of stopping that constant beep without me physically turning off the parking sensor button? I need to do this every time currently.

I would’ve thought once I engage the parking brake it would stop. It’s annoying as hell.

Is there a spot to adjust this to do what I want it to do (stop beeping once parking brake engaged), or did they really miss this when making the car?

Hmm, owners manual doesn’t specify for 6MT. It’ll stop when putting the car in P for 8AT cars. Looks like you can adjust the volume at least, or stop it from coming on automatically:

Damn, they really didn’t think about it eh… surprising a bit. Whatever, pushing the button every time it is!

Put it in first gear or any other gear other than N from R and see if the camera and parking assist turn off.
