m3 comp mod thread

Short video added to new post.

Took delivery of my G80 comp last night. My brother and I spent all day installing all of the exterior carbon fiber. I have more going under the hood and seat covers as well.

Big shout out to AutoTecknic . Items fit pretty good. Didn’t have to mess around with anything other than shaving down foam of front bumper and one rear splitter is slightly off. May have to grab a new set.

Not the best photos, but enjoy all of this beautiful carbon. I will keep updating this thread I have some more carbon goodies plus midpipe, dps, intake, tune, and springs ready to be installed this week.

Also IND-Distribution. Carbon emblems and painted reflectors were awesome.

More pictures added of carbon fiber in engine bay.

I just ordered the CF front CSL style nose insert as well. I am just now reading you have to shave the front bumper foam. How entailed is that process?

Not hard at all. I took a sawzall and shaved down foam directly behind grill by half. The foam insert pops off and used my tailgate as a work bench.

also liking them more now but it's almost forced 😂 go back in time when the OG G8X came out... headlights looked 🤩 grill of course different but once aftermarket grills came out the car was perfect these new headlights on the other hand 😬

I agree with you. My preference is pre lci headlights.

AA catted dps and single resonated midpipe. Valve wide open.

Car is brand new and not broken in so this isn’t a WOT pull. Only got to around 4k with a light foot on gas.

Sounds good! I want to do this as well. AA DPs, MAD resonated Ti midpipe, and valvetronics Ti axle back. Does it sound raspy? Do you think you would go non resonated?

And Which midpipe do you have?

I kept the stock mufflers because I wasn’t looking for anything too loud. My current set up is not raspy nor does it drone. I was told by Mike@Extreme powerhouse that this was a great set up so I went with it.

AA Gesi catted downpipes + AA single resonated midpipe + stock muffler.

Post new clips when you are out of the break in window.

I think if I added an aftermarket axle back that the resonated would be the choice with the AA DPs.

I got these and carbon seat backs from Vescaa. The quality and fitment was pretty good, no complaints. Their communication was top notch. I was a bit reluctant on side panels, but glad I did it.
