Hey all, When BCX (Bucks County Exotics) formerly existed, I used to organize the Fall covered bridge tour for the group. Now that it no longer exists, have had several people reach out and ask about doing another Fall drive. So I'm just in the preliminary planning phase right now, but looking at October 12th, 2024. All are welcomed. Just trying to gauge interest on here to see who might be interested in participating. Thanks.

Update: We will be meeting at Central Park in Doylestown PA. we will meet at 9am and plan on leaving by 9:30am.

Drove the preliminary route I was planning on using and will need to re-work it a bit. Found out one of the roads just got "oiled and chipped". For the life of me, I wish these local governments would stop cheaping out and use regular blacktop on their backroads! Those chips will basically sandblast your car.

Slowphiveo I was hoping to see what event might be hosted at Ace Cafe on that Saturday afternoon, but I did not find a standing event. So, it'll be interesting to see what's in the lot that afternoon when some G8Xs roll up.

Yeah, the owner Jimmy is very cool. Actually owns an E36 M3. There is a chance he may join us on the drive. The meets they have are not "strict" to the theme, so all cars are welcome.

Yeah I did see that it was the same morning, which kinda stinks. I wanted to make sure we have a back-up date in case of poor weather on the 12th, so picked the 19th. Unfortunately, those are the only two Saturdays I have available in October.

Just an update. We are all set! I've driven the route and we should be good go (barring any last minute government road repair projects). Hoping the weather holds out now... As a side note, if for some reason the weather goes south I will make a judgement call no later than Friday evening whether to cancel the drive or not. I originally planned a make up date for the 19th, but there are a ton of things going on that weekend (work related for me) so it will not happen. So let's keep our fingers crossed for the 12th! If you happen to know that you will definitely be attending lunch at the Ace Cafe, please let me know. I'd like to give the owner a heads up with a general number of people who will be there.
