Ohlins clicking. Top hat help?

I’m getting some clicking on full turn of the roads not flat. I’m assuming the spring is binding. I’ve retrqed everything a few times(not end links or any of the adjusters)

I read a comment on Facebook that the oem top hats don’t allow enough movement. Could that be a solution? Would the street millways have enough movement or is that essentially an oem unit thats adjustable?

My initial thought as I was installing them the first time was helper springs should be here or more preload. The suggested preload does allow some movement of the spring when the cars not loaded. I was told by a couple guys that’s not it. Yet when it’s not loaded is where the sound comes from.

Just curious if there’s a solution or “it is what it is, move on”

Did you ever find a resolution for this ? Kind were just installed on my LCI M4 which only had 3000 miles on the stock suspension
No idea why the clicking is there

Shout out to derrick for figuring out the issue. There are now 3 cars besides mine that had the spring backwards. The suspension has been quiet for 1500 miles!
