I plan to get the car wrapped in stealth PPF immediately, hence the shadowline delete. This is my 5th BMW and first since 2017. I'll be trading in my 340i with 41,000 miles and a load of Dinan upgrades. Ready to realize my dream of 24 years to own an M3, and I figured I'd better do it soon since I imagine the next platform will be plug-in hybrid (which I don't want) like the new M5.

I have a week 37 allocation. I ended up snagging the only allocation the dealer I am working with gets each year. They called me Thursday night last week and let me know. The had my production number for me at that time.

I threw around the idea of bright silver wheels but at the last minute decided against. With there only being body color or black trim on the car it didn’t look right.

I have been waiting for allocations at my closest dealer here in north Atlanta for months, voluntarily putting myself at the bottom of the waiting list a few times over the last 18 months as well, just waiting for the right time.

They received 2 allocations on Tuesday last week, so July 23rd. I had my sales appointment on Thursday the 25th and placed the order. Surprisingly, there were quite a few dealers in the state of Georgia with allocations all at the same time, so I assume there were many released at once.

Yeah, small dealer out of West Virginia, their allocation last year was used for a M3 cs. When I called them a few weeks ago they told me they get one a year and if someone was on their list expect two years out. I was the first on the list and they got their allocation a week later. I was working with a few dealers in Ohio and they all had 2 or so on lists waiting for allocations.

I am coming from a 2016 TZB F80 that was totaled in early June when I was rear ended. I looked at so many different cars before I finally decided on the G80. Once you go M3 it’s hard to go to anything else!

I plan on doing PCD. I did ED and PCD with my F80. Sadly ED is no longer available or I would have done it in a heartbeat.

Look forward to seeing everyone’s builds and seeing how they go!

I'm joining the week 37 club! I'm selling the 2022 and just ordered a 2025. The resale value was just too good on my 2022 for me not to take advantage of. I called my dealer and got lucky with an allocation already in 112 status. I penciled out a deal and we were done same day. Here is the build I'm going with to replace my Brooklyn over Tartufo...

Week 35 g82 here, was in 150 from 07/27 to 08/02 and now in 151

This is my first time custom ordering a BMW, and this might be a dumb question, but 150 means production begins, but doesn't production start in the specified week, or does the car get completed during that week?
