Did anyone get allocations for the 2025 M3 model? I placed a deposit for a manual m3 G80 2025 and was told I would get an allocation by June for sure. Now when I called back they said they only have a "preliminary allocation" which tells them what cars the dealership can get but needs to be confirmed by BMW. Has anyone else experienced this? Starting to get the feeling that I'm getting stalled on.

I’m somewhat new to this but it sounds like it can just take time. I don’t think very many allocations went out for this first month of MY25. I put a deposit down in March, passed on an allocation for a ‘24 in May, now I’m still waiting for a ‘25 allocation. I don’t see why a dealer would delay, I’m sure they’ll let you know.

If you can’t wait, I know there are some wizards on the forum who seem to be able to find you an allocation.

Dealers don’t want to lose the sale. You need to ask the right questions.

1. How long is the list ?

2. Historically , how many allocations do you get a month?


After that it’s just napkin math.

Choose dealers who move product and you won’t wait long. Choose a small dealer and you could be waiting a loooong time
