Peem obd2 valve controller

Had this controller for over a month now, best thing about it is you can open the valves with the RES button on the steering wheel.
It installs into the obd2 port if you select the plug and play version otherwise you wire it into the bcm, then you run the wiring under the trim to the control box in the trunk, then you connect it to the wiring coming from the valves.
You hold the RES button for 1.5 seconds and the valves open up, to me this was a bit long so Markus @ Peem modified the firmware to open in 0.5 seconds.
If you have idrive7 you can also assign any of the shortcut buttons to do this, with idrive8 you're limited to the RES button only.
It does other things too, I optioned Delete-R which disables the check engine light if you have catless downpipes, but can't test that since i don't have a downpipe yet.
One little annoying thing about the controller is that it opens and closes the valves for like half a second after startup, i mentioned this to Markus, not sure if he can do anything about this.

More info here https://www.peem-solutions.de/exhaust_valve_controller right click to translate to english if you're using chrome.

Pretty straight forward, connect it to the obd2 port up front, tuck the wiring along the bottom of the front and rear door trim, fold the rear seats down and fish it into the trunk and into the battery compartment where the control box sits. Then connect the other wiring to the valves and fish it through the grommet into the trunk and connect it.

Also if you want the dme to control the valves you can hold the RES button for 5 seconds and the valves will function like stock.

Chi58 you can cut the wiring short if you want or i'm sure markus will build it to any length you want.

I think the only downside here is for the guys using the wifi adapters , it’s either going to be one or the other, other then that if it does it job then it’s a win win.

Then you can get the one that wires into the bcm near the passenger footwell.

The fake sounds and burbles go away, valve stays open. This controller can also apparently disable asd and start/stop but haven't tested that. Also has an engine immobilizer but haven't tested that either lol

Here are some of the options.

It starts in the last position you left it in, but it does open and close for a split second.
You'd have to email Marcus and inquire about id8.5 support.
