Interesting about the hood popping up to soften the blow for a pedestrian. Seems like a interesting/highly engineered solution for (what we'd hope) is a rare occurrence.

Is this on US spec cars as well?

IMO, it would be more interesting if it weren’t just some generic rich car YouTuber who’s got thousands to drop on a whim and will have it fixed up in two weeks

It will not be fixed in 2 weeks. His rebuilds usually take months to complete. That bend by the rear window would really put most off on tackling this project. Interested in seeing how he handles this.

The AdamLZ GT3 appeared to be really well repaired with installing a new front tub.

Yeah I dont understand that either. This car is a "total loss" in the states and even if you fix it up you are stuck with a rebuilt/salvaged title car. Who would ever buy this thing when you can have a non crashed truly clean title car?
