The best winter road driving video I have seen. Kudos to these guys - they have skill, but they also must have giant gonads.

I'd need a road that is 3 times as wide to drive like that. And I'd probably frak it up eventually

Even with a manual? A manual is way better for drifting in the snow. Automatics always try to shift up under low load, unless you paddle shift, then you might as well just have the real thing!

Hence why I bought a manual. I’d rather tell the car what to do. The p-car driver had supposedly never been to those roads, and did great in my opinion.

ZF8 in S (sequential paddle shifting mode) has much more closely spaced gears, so much easier to be in the proper gear/RPM range for the job at hand, and much faster shifting to keep the momentum going.

Hard to find situations where the M6 with the long gear gaps between 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 are better than the closely spaced fast paddle shifting ZF8, except for the engagement factor of using the clutch.

For the driving they were doing either transmission would be fun.

That's lightweight glass for ya. Kind of a silly video as the GT3 obviously wasn't designed to be driven in these types of conditions. Might as well take it off-roading to see how quickly stuff starts to break.

Makes me want to get the M3. and GT3. Notice the freedom Europe has. You won't find this in the USA or Canada. They jail or shoot you for things like this here.

The USA has NO freedom, only bit you have is you're allowed to work, pay the banks money for a house and debt you have to keep up with the housewives and your neighbours instagram LOL.
