The first post about this is already a negative? It already has a 40-hp bump!
Based on my M3CS experience, this is going to be a cracking car without a doubt. I hope prospective buyers won't pass this opportunity up. And it will look the part too. Well done, BMW, IMO.

I don’t think anyone really believes that there is only a 20 Hp gap; and absolutely no one that’s driven both cars would. The update for the Comp is more of a ‘true up’ to the power that it was already making.
The M3 CS tune has been dynoed at 600hp. Do the math on the difference |

CS cars have Different geometry, tuning suspension, camber, steering input, transmission, throttle response.. it is tuned differently, and even has different parts for the front suspension.
I wouldn’t mind buying a CS but I’m gonna have to spend 5- $7000 having the hood painted and all the ugly crap that Bmw puts on it. |

I don't even think BMW has changed anything with the LCI. Its all marketing. Just like the G87 getting a bump to the base G80 HP...that it already dynos at. Marketing.

This is the one thing I wish my CSL had. I definitely got used to relying on that in previous cars. Kinda feel blind without it.

I nearly bought a CSL and it definitely didnt bother me as much on that car but given how much of a footprint these cars have I can understand it in that case too. I always have to adapt when I get in 991 or GT4 after the G80 M3 - it's just so nice to see everything.

Is it gonna have the gross headlights too?
Or did it make it past the LCI?

I am sure when the new ones come out they will have more power on the dyno. Whether anybody can actually feel the difference is a different story. |
