With my set of x ice snow 18 inches, this has been best rig for winter driving so far 20 years Ontario Canada. Lately 2 weeks we've had frigid Temps, lots of snow, slush , you name it. This rig has been bullet proof, starts up, warms quickly, and get though all the stuff thrown at it. Heated seats and steering wheel are decent does the job. Only thing had ice on front bumpers was setting off proximity sensors.

Do the sensors disable themselves with a warning when enough ice, dirt, etc. is built up?

It kept going off when I slowed down, the front camera was showing red on bumper as if I was near an object. But it was ice covering the sensor. You have to push the camera button above gear selector. After clearing ice, no issues.

That’s all normal for many automakers. The 1st time it snowed after I bought my 2019 Acura RDX several alerts went off. At that time I did not even think I’d have that type of issue whenever it snowed or rains hard.
