G42 YELLOW DRL (AliExpress) Installed

Not the best-doing videos! Doing it for fun and to help other people. Installing Yellow DRLs from AliExpress! No error codes or anything and they look like the OEM ones. Hopefully, this video helps y'all.

Nice find on removing that bolt to avoid having to loosen the 2 bolts connected to the headlight. Also, nice crocks.

I recently installed AliExpress yellow DRLs myself, the price is finally dropping.

Visited service recently and asked if such module installation may affect the warranty on headlights. Surprise, surprise - yes. This headlamp cost 1200+ USD (each, new) and at least this module may be removed from the warranty if/when something will be wrong with it or supportive wiring for the headlamp AND/IF technician detect that other than OEM DRL module was installed.

Now to me - yellow (or lemon as it commonly searched on Ali) looks fantastic with Thundernight metallic. especially when only DRLs are lit up during the daytime

I didn’t, but I did this yesterday with DP and the intake without launch control. I need to learn the launch control stuff 🤣No issues, but the intake gets dirty easily inside, and I don't like it because of that.

Very nice , thank you.

I haven't used launch control yet either. Something quite unsettling about flooring the car while hard braking. Seems like it would be so rough on the car.

I have given the car a bit a throttle while on the brakes. Car launches like crazy
