Here we see the M3 Touring Competition presented in Individual Daytona Beach Blue

It reminds me of Laguna Seca Blue.

I don't think they rebrand colors. If it's updated, it'd be Mexico Blue II. DBB pretty sure is a different color.

OP - Absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy it!

Yes, it used to be Mexico blue, yes they just changed the name, and no, it’s not really that similar to Laguna Seca.

Yah I can second that it is in fact Mexico Blue renamed, I'm the main M Advisor at my dealer and can confirm. But man these G81's be making me so jealous that Europe gets them and we don't.

At least we're getting the M5 wagons!

Gorgeous color and looks so good on the M3 touring. I just wish they made this car available in the US.

Thanks for sharing!

Yes. They also rebranded Champaign Quartz Metallic to Alvite Gray.

Then why bother having "II" and "III" for colors if they change the name anyway? Isn't that the point of the numbers that they're the same color but supplier or something changed?

The II and III many times means that they end up using a different supplier or it’s a reformulation.

Right, which means it's the same color? What would be the difference between rebranding a color vs the same color as II or III?

I have a feeling they renamed it because they couldn't get it *quite* right but it's close enough that they'd still supply it. Whereas something like Sakhir Orange, II, and III are the literal exact same color when analyzed closely.

This should help as everyone is looking for a comparison. When ordering a blue individual color I spent a lot of time researching.

The Porsche sequence is Riveria, Miami and then Mexico(or bmw Daytona) from left to right.
