Anyone know of anyone making/selling alternatives to the nasty black plastic blight on the backs of our seats?

Best you can do is wrap them, perhaps with alcantera.

They typically have two screws or plastic rivet type things at the bottom and lift up and away.

Think op is in the US over here we don't get those seats. You could probably pop them off and take to a body shop have them painted. Maybe color match to tnm.

Don’t think the non M seats would look good with a change of seat back but if it’s I what you are intent on doing….
