Tire recommendation for 797M wheels on M240i
My 2023 M240i came with 19 inch 797M wheels from the factory with 225/40 run flat tires.
I want to upgrade to Michelin PS4s. I understand that the fronts wheels are 8 inch wide and rears 8.5 inch wide. Can I go with 245/35 in front and 255/35 in the rear? Thanks, Mir. |

His profile says rwd, I'm pretty sure if you got all season tires they are a square setup if you got performance summers they are staggered if xdrive or rwd. Mine are def staggered and it came with summer run flats and I have an xdrive.

BG42…… thanks for the info on staggered set up from the factory.
Can you tell me which brand you have and the side wall number? How do you like the handling with the 225/255 setup? Mir |

Mine came with p zero run flats one had a side wall bubble probably a month after I got the car so I swapped to ps4s. I just bought the bmw ps4s if you go on tire rack and look you should see star bmw tires. In your case because you are rwd you could go with a 235 up front if you wanted because you don't have to worry about rolling diameters like I do with x drive. Handling wise though I did notice the car felt much more planted with the michelins over the stock perelli run flats. I plan to do some track days this spring and summer but will buy another set of wheels with track specific tires. The ps4s though are great daily tires.
