Well, I finally got around to installing my Escort MAXcam 360c & Escort ZW5 Laser Shifter (with front & rear sensors) in my 2024 BMW XM Label that was in both of my two previous BMWs. Although both products can operate completely independent of each other, they do integrate together nicely so Ican see if the laser is coming from the front or rear of the vehicle on the radar detector itself which is mounted to the rearview mirror column.
Apologize for the dirty vehicle as it’s been raining here! Products used for this radar/laser system install: Escort MAXcam 360c: $849 https://www.escortradar.com/products/escort_maxcam_360c Escort ZW5 Laser Shifter with Direct Wire: $999 https://www.escortradar.com/products...rd-direct-wire Escort ZR5/ZW5 ShifterMax Rear Add-On Pack: $649 (not listed on Escort’s website) https://www.radarbusters.com/escort-...max-add-on.htm BelndMount BMG-3032 https://blendmount.com/aluminum-rada...nt-custom-fit/ While laser jammers are completely legal to own in Texas, they are definitely illegal to use, but then again so is my super dark window tint. I’ve never had any issues with police spotting the sensors before and since this XM Label is more of a cop magnet than any other vehicle I have ever owned, I’m happy to have all pf the advanced warning I can get. There is another fully integrated solution that Escort just released earlier this year that I would consider buying if I didn’t own all of this stuff above already. It’s a much more involved, complex installation, but it may not make much sense financially speaking on a leased vehicle. Plus it’e expensive AF at a mere $4,299 plus about another $1,500 in labor costs depending on the vehicle.
