Drag Race - Evolve 1000HP G82 M4 vs 1600HP Bugatti Chiron Supersport vs 1000HP F90 M5

We had the opportunity to put our G82 M4 and Mr VANOS’ F90 M5 up against one of the quickest production cars, a Bugatti Chiron Supersport!

Some stiff competition but watch the video to see how we got on.

Both cars are custom tuned by ourselves, and feature built engines by Mr VANOS, Eventuri Intakes, CSF cooling and Pure Transmissions.

Not bad considering we only finished the car about 12 hours before the race! Much more to come - actually much faster already since that race. looking forward to sharing more data soon.

Imran@Evolve - What happened really with the M5CS? Was it really slower than the M4 or was it a driver/setup error? I was very surprised to see the results of the different attempts.

The most great thing about this race is realizing how reliable and capable BMW's engines are!.

If they could be tuned and do many times of these races without any issue, it means these engines are very capable, and BMW didn't put them with the full available potential.

It was in the wrong mode. This is the trouble with getting someone unfamiliar driving a highly tuned car. The M5 is a lot faster than the M4 based on the specs in that video. It should have beaten the M4 on every roll race.

Yes stock PS4S and stock wheels used in this video. I have changed the set up now to AR1's on Titan& forged wheels to provide more grip and lose some rotational mass.

Its built by Pure Drivetrain Transmissions and running XHP software.

Both engines feature Mr VANOS drop in rod upgrades, but other than that and some uprated head studs are fairly standard!

What are the Pure transmissions rated to in terms of power and torque? Is driveability like stock after the upgrades or are there compromises from a daily driver perspective?

Are they machining and adding clutch packs, changing line pressure etc?

We are running the Stage 2 with Race Converter.

Still lovely to drive as a daily and the shifts are super fast and aggressive when on it. They do a really good job.
