RDU/Greater Carolinas typical paint damage?
Hey Gang - I'm moving back the the great state of N. Carolina soon and picking up my M3CX. I used to do a lot of HW traveling when I lived in NC and I experienced quite a bit of every small paint chips on the front ends of my cars.
I'm gunna end up getting a ceramic coating but was just wondering if PPF is the better way to go with all the sand and debris? TIA |

I recommend the PPF, I got it for my m340 and it definitely helps with the small rocks and debris on the highways. Ceramic coating pretty much is only good for small abrasions/ dust but anything larger is going to leave a mark.
I just did the front up to the hood on the 340 but am doing a full wrap for the M3! |

I love ceramic. Definitely do get ceramic but it won’t do shit for rocks chips. You’ll need PPF for that. Cover as much of the car as you can afford to but at a minimum. Entire front bumper, headlights, front fenders, a pillars, full roof if CF spec’d, rear fenders.
