Another M4 CSL Crash :(

BIMMERPOST

Unfortunately there is 1 less CSL on this planet. Was rented out through the “LAB” in CT.
It was rented out and the renter ended up totaling it into what looks to be a shed. Driver and passenger are ok

I'm sure their hands were at 9 and 3 and they were driving the speed limit. Glad everyone lived both in and outside of the car.

Wow. So what’s the next step for you in terms of liability and payout? Assuming the rental company is going to pay out since your auto insurance won’t cover the loss?

Interesting, trying to figure out what they hit. No shed in street view, just the fence. But that's a lot more than just fence in that pic.

Rented out? I can’t imagine owning this car and allowing it to be a carnival ride. Under supervision on a track sure. But not the street.

It either helps with payments or the person has a luxury rental business. Lamborghini and Ferrari are rented out all the time, this is considerably cheaper than what is available out there and potentially worse performing.

After I made the post I went and checked the website. They don’t list the CSL on the website but they do list a 2023 Lamborghini Huracan STO for 3K a day and 8K security deposit. I get it, they’re servicing all the Wall Street finance people who live in Connecticut. Ultimately it’s going to be the drivers insurance that gets the most pain and subsequent raising of rates. Different world for some, as it’s likely the raise in rates will not be given a second thought.

It's funny how they say fully license blah blah insured. Incase of accident blah blah know you're covered. Then in the faq it says you have to put the car on your own insurance lol. If they did offer insurance and the person bought it I'm sure he's real happy right now lol... or hopefully he had a credit card that offered insurance as primary
