CS has diff front sway bar if you wanted to go that route.

You probably don't need to touch the rear sway bar.
Traditionally, an upgrade would be a front sway bar from convertible models as they are thicker and stiffer to combat body roll On my E90 track car, I put H&R M3 convertible front swaybar. It's literally the thickest and stiffest available for that platform. It made the car neutral in its handling balance. I would imagine the same logic will be applicable for our cars as well. |

ARC makes a set for both rwd and xdrive. You’ll have to find a way to get it here though.

In the interests of science I ordered a CS front sway bar and tried to fit it to my '23 6MT. Not a success and I had some odd findings:
Either the CS mounts it's sway bar entirely different or the part was assembled incorrectly at the factory. The bushings are bonded to the bar and are completely immobile, I think BMW has bonded other bar bushings so it's not entirely unheard of. The issue with this bar in particular is the bushings appear to be bonded 180 degrees off. See here: You can see the flat part of the bushing is pointed away from the frame, when positioned roughly as it would when mounted. If aligned correctly, the gooseneck part of the sway bar would go under the steering arm...this can't be right. Near as I can tell, there's no way to twist or move the bushings without destroying them, they are solidly bonded to the bar with zero give. Even if the bushings weren't 180 off, they are spaced differently than the 6MT mounting points...they would have to be moved inward to line up with the frame mounts. I could probably try to move the bushings but they'd have to be dremeled or cut off somehow, they are that solidly bonded. While messing with all this, it also appeared to me that the stock 6MT sway bar and CS didn't look all that different. In fact, when I measured the center thickness with calipers, the 6MT was 24mm and the CS was 23mm. Maybe there's some materials science magic going on with the CS as it's bend/geometry is different than the 6MT. I didn't pull mine off to compare them in weight, but given the measurements I'm not sure this would be a huge change. Maybe if the CS was like 30mm or something I'd think about trying to cut the bushings and get it fitted, but this does not seem to be worth the effort. I might try the H&R matched pair but they say that's for Xdrive only. As long as the gooseneck bend is roughly the same I don't see why they wouldn't work but 1k+ is a bit more to gamble than what the CS bar cost me. Hopefully I can just return it as I don't think it'd work on any car given the odd assembly from the factory. hope that helps! |

the CSL sway bar would be the one you wanted to get with a 6MT would think.
https://parts.bmwmonterey.com/p/bmw_...358091420.html Lists it fits the 3.0CSL so transmission type shouldn't have any issue, probably only not fitting because of the XDrive. |

I do have an xDrive car, and I'd be curious to try and fit it on mine. I'll buy it off you to test that theory if you can't return it! |

H&R offers Front (30mm) and Rear (27mm) swaybar kits for M3/M4 xDrive. Let me know if anyone needs help getting a set, we have matching endlinks also.

Any idea if the H&R front mounts are fixed on the bar? if they can be moved inwards it might work on a RWD/Base model as well.
