Nav screen service info dates

Okay, I am totally confused on that maintenance schedules in my NAV. I have had bad experances with my dealership service, and they seem to not know much at all.

My 335i has built date of 11/07 and was picked up at 1/08. Here is what the Nav schedule showed when i first got the car

Engine oil 15,000mls or 11/09
Brake Fluid 11/09
Vechicle Check 30,000mls or 11/11

and I just did my yearly low milage oil change last week and now it shows

engine oil 2,800 miles or 11/09
brake fluid 11/09
vec check 22,000miles or 11/11

Is all those dates correct for my built time and did they forget to reset my oil change sensors or does it take longer time for the computer to figure out that my oil was already changed? Also, my computer went off a couple of times saying oil is low. I checked the info service and it shows the oil at mininium levels and that i should add 1 quart. did my SA screw up or something? also, does all the dealership use the same oils? i was thinking of taking my car to another dealership but wasnt sure if its ok to mix the oil type if they use different ones.

it doesnt get reset for low milage oil changes...add a quart if it says its low...all dealers use the same oil. your countdowns are based on build date and first registration depending on which service is being performed. brake fluid and engine oil are from SOP.

ok, so whats going to happen when i reach that 2,900 mls for oil change since they didnt reset it? i know for sure ill probably do that in a month or two, which will be way before my next yearly oil change at next Jan/10.

also, so its correct in that brake fluid is done at every two years? and vec check at 3rd year? btw, what does SOP mean? Thanks

i found this thread,
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=oil+change

looks like i do get another oil change in 2,900 miles and then another a year from that point on.

Also, i just notice, the vechicle check on my nav says 4 years! just realize 11/07 to 11/11 is four years away! i was thinking 01/08 to 11/11
