Why bother with drag races in the UK? It’s always rainy and wet and there’s never any traction for these high power RWD cars.

Love the "I've got the primer!" I also have the primer
This test was in the wet, given that the CSL is only on 285 width rears vs 315s on the GT3, and how playful the rear end of the CSL is, the CSL's lack of traction is not surprising. Looking forward to seeing the track comparison. What up, brother! Haven't seen you in ages.

Looks like CSL didn’t have the ultra light fix buckets.
Small factor but still.

England really is miserable most of the time. More than made up for by the fantastic people and sense of humour and the incredible joy a rare day of sunshine delivers though.

I have no dog in this fight. Didn't watch video. But while driving home this morn in a loaner X5 while my M4 gets serviced, a GT3 went WOT to merge. Thought it was a superbike (not Yamaha cuz I know that crossplane sound anywhere)!!!
I've never went down the GT3 rabbit hole because I'm too poor and impatient, but it's gotta be in the top 5 of best sounding street legal cars, right? Makes my M4 sound like the X5 in the driveway. |

Of course it is no contest with a rear-engined vehicle vs front engine when it comes to off the line traction. Just look at how the new Corvette hooks up compared to the C7. And to do it in the rain only emphasizes the handicap.
