brake by wire

I just got my car a few days ago. I had only driven the g80 at the limit (thermal ca) and at the track with the ccbs, they felt consistent and no big deal.

I absolutely hate the brake by wire. You get to a red light and it's very switchy. No foot modulation nothing. It's too digital and fake.

I love the car once it's moving past 5mph. Anybody else feel this way?

I agree and I’ve noticed this with all the new BMWs I’ve driven in the past 2-3 years. Varying degrees of annoying and the M3 is the least annoying in my opinion. That being said, it is still noticeable at lower speeds compared to other vehicles. I’ve gotten used to it over the last 3200 miles so I guess the silver lining is that you eventually get used to it? The rest of the car makes up for it but I wish they had some software setting to make it feel linear

Agree. Attempting to modulate the brakes at very low speeds/coming to a stop makes me feel like I’m a bad driver sometimes. Forget about attempting to ease off the brakes when pulling out of the garage. It’s all or nothing at those speeds.
