I wouldn’t call that a scathing review, they were mostly positive about the X1. I just hit 1200 miles today, so the car is officially broken in. Gonna try pushing the car a bit more when I get the chance and see how the transmission handles it.

I actually meant to say that it's a scathing review against the Tonale.

how fast do most people(not the tourists) drive in Hawaii these days anyway? just curious.

Generally speaking, the average driver between the ages of 20-50 will usually drive 5-10 miles over the speed limit. BUT, we have an obscene amount of people who either camp the left lane or are driving well below the speed limit. I generally am doing between 60-70 on the freeway, but the speed limits are between 45-60. We have a lot of old people (75+), tourists, and unskilled drivers here though, so actually going at the speed limit or higher can be difficult depending on the time of day.

I personally just do not care for the styling of Alfa Romeo, and I'm a bit wary of a brand who is a relative newbie in the US market. Fiat came in and a ton of people bought their little car, and now there is little to no support for them here locally to have their car serviced.
