BMW 420D F32 rear valance fitting.

Hi guys. After a little advice. I have a 420D F32 M Sport 2016 model.

I am after fitting a rear valance to my car. My question is this:
Does the lower part of the factory fitted bumper come away from the top part?
I ask because I have bought the part in the attached image. What I need to know is, does the bumper come apart so that the new piece is a direct replacement? I have searched the site and can't find an answer to this question. So I am hoping someone may be able to help me and give me a few pointers.

Many thanks,
Irving

This part is called "diffusor" and is attached with 2 or 3 screws lh and rh outer zones and as far as I remember this with 4 screws into the center section. Addidionally its clipped above into the bumper, so you have to remove the screws and then bend the old diffusor gently to the rear and a bit up and then it would snap out.
Installation vice versa.
Bumper removal isn't necessary.

What he said

I installed one on mine a couple of weeks ago, and even though it wasn't necessary to take the bumper out, it would've made my life a heck of a lot easier.
Given the fact that these parts are not exactly a 1-1 fitment like OEM parts, mileage may vary, and some have a better fit than others. Mine was like 90%, but every once in a while, the right top part still pops out a little bit, and it needs a bit of a "love tap" to go back in.
