M4 G82 Model Year 2024 price increase.

The price for a MY24 M4 went up to $77,000 from $74,700.

Big jump! How do you know. Can you post the price guide if you have access to it? Is there new M3 or M2 pricing yet for MY24?

IMO the new M2 is way underpriced and has room for a $5K+ increase in the next MY.

I believe March 2023 is the start date of the M4 MY2024 and the M3 MY2024 is in July 2023.

M3 already had a big increase this MY so there might not be another one for MY24.

95% of the line up had a price increase for the MY23 and again in January if this year (mid year increase). I bet there will be yet another for MY24. Demand is very high.

Looking at this makes me happy I placed my order back in January. Currently I am at status 111, so my price is locked.

That would be quite shitty, since while the M3 got a price increase in January ($1500-1900 depending on model), the M4 did not--because it was coming in March for the MY24 switchover.

If there is an increase, I would guess $500-800, just to account for the currently-optional equipment becoming standard.

Seeing this makes me happy I ordered a 2022 in July of 2021. $78,800 for an xDrive Comp. An $1,800 price difference, for something that used to be almost $9,000 less. $4,500 for Comp, and another $4,500 for xDrive.

ICE market and EV markets are vastly different and we shouldn't make correlation. We should treat them as two separate segments entirely.

Tesla dropped prices so that cars can qualify for tax rebates and they can move inventory. Without tax rebate, most people won't buy or would wait. Last week they bumped up the price on teslas by about $1800. Also, the Model S is old enough to shave, competition is coming as a tsunami wave.

Tesla did several price hikes since 2020 and its really significant if you add everything up. They are yet to announce replacements for their older models and wants to maintain market share with the price cut as the mainstream OEMs are catching up with their EVs.

Always been the case for a base M3 or M4 that come with the 18/19 wheels as standard.

Law changed ..

These credits will be limited in time as bmw will have to shift production and assembly in order to keep them.
