Alcantara M8 dash trim

Hi all . I was wondering if anyone has purchased and M8 with the alcantara dash trim . If so , pictures please and your thoughts if it's better than having all leather .

I've seen a newer member post pics of their recently purchased m8 with the Alcantara interior not too long ago.

It is nice, wish mine had it.

I think it’s hands down the best interior. Every person that has stopped me to look at the car, they always ask about the interior Alcantara. Don’t even think about not ordering it 🤓

Best interior by far. I’m so glad I went with it. Just make sure you got you’re sexy significant other in the passenger seat. Makes the suede pop

Thanks for the confirmation on the alcantara . Really appreciated the response from you all .
And "yes" , the passenger in the seat DOES make the lovely trim pop . Thanks again .

Haha! The wife’s still got it. It’s tough as you get older and start caring slightly less about physique, but we still try our best for each other… can’t go too long without my sugar fix though. All about the semi balance!

Okay so girlfriend / wife in passenger seat thread?

I have the alcantara. No choice as it came with the black/midrand. Its fine and I've had some comments on it, but I think I would have preferred the full leather on the dash for a richer (nicer rather than more expensive that is) look. This was going to be my first car to get the full leather, but alas, nope. Personal preference.

My GLE is full nappa leather dash and I like having something different in the BMW.

Yea, maybe if I already had one with full leather I'd be up for the change, but I was finally looking forward to getting rid of the naugahyde dash and upgrading to the leather.

Makes sense. I really like the dash in my GLE. It’s one of the reasons why I upgraded to full Napa because that’s the only way you get a true leather dash.

From what I hear that leatherette stuff that is on the dash in most of the cars is fine as long as you don't actually know now nice the full leather looks. I guess ignorance is bliss.

BMW's with ID8 have ugly dashes anyhow so it doesn't matter what they put there.

I'm hoping they are a bit better integrated in the next iteration.

Yeah I’ve been in a few with the leatheratte. Not bad at all. Like all things though, true Napa is in a class of its own. With the hand stitching too
