Help me find a very specific green (NY Jets helmet green)

I’m looking for a very specific green color. Literally the difference between me buying the Porsche in paint to sample vs the BMW (which I would prefer) in this color (THIS IS NOT A PORSHE VS BMW DEBATE LOL). It’s basically the color of the NY Jets helmets (no I’m not a Jets fan, sorry, but LOVE the color). The dark candied green that looks black in low light. I’ve looked at San Romeo and it doesn’t have enough black. Basically if they made a “carbon black metallic” in a green tint instead of the current blue tint it would be very close to what I’m looking for. See pic for color I’m looking for. (yes I’ve been to two dealers and they want to help me but said “if you can find that green that exists on a newer BMW we can likely get it for you”). Also a wrap is a no go for me. Greatly appreciate any recommendations!

Have you seen “Deep Green” code A43?

I ordered mine in Oxford Green - which is somewhat similar - although that has a slight turquoise in it. I'm picking it up in about 2.5 weeks so will be sure to post pics when I do. But I'm not sure I'd call it carbon black with a green tint.... maybe more like tanzanite blue but in green. Verde Ermes is another color that comes to mind, but that might be a bit lighter.

Wow. Can’t believe all the quick replies. Verde ermes is probably the closest in terms of the effect I’m looking far but it’s far too bright. I light the color is the sun to look light verde ermes when it’s in the dark. When the car is in the dark I’d like it to almost look black. Similar to carbon black metallic.

Thanks again and keep them coming!! Unfortunately I think San Romo and Verde Ermes is about as close as I’m going to get with the BMW individual colors (which sadly isn’t close enough. I’m literally buying another car because I live this color so much! But don’t want a wrap or to have it painted as it will never look factory (door jams, engine bay, etc)

Again…..keep them coming and thank you all for the quick replies. Much more passionate and interest crowd in here than the Porsche forums!!

You could always have your dealership get in touch with the BMW Individual Manufaktur program and see if they are willing to develop the exact color you are after. Pricing for that starts at $7,500 and would likely add a fair amount of time to your build, should they even approve the request.

Not the color I was looking for but REALLY like it. Need to see a Verde Ermes in person as I think that’s what I’m going to go with but if I end up not liking it Malachite is a great second option! Thanks!

There's also a "malachite green dark" on the individualizer, not sure if it's an option to order but worth checking out.

IMO Verde Ermes is too much of a "forest green" compared to the Jets green.

Zack Wilson apparently got BMW to give him an actual Gotham Green paint job last year (though his looks a bit too much like IOMG, and it's also not quite the right shade IMO) so maybe you should do special color order lol. It's more expensive than Individual though.

That definitely looks like IOMG, I think BMW would probably get the color right for Aaron Rodgers though.

FWIW:

The Gotham green color code for the New York Jets logo is Pantone: PMS 7484 C, Hex Color: #125740, RGB: (18, 87, 64), CMYK: (87, 41, 78, 37).

Throwing in another alternative with Goodwood Green, which is basically a metallic version of British Racing Green. It may not be black enough for you in low light, but sharing two photos here of how it changes b/w shade and direct sun.

Have you tried contacting the Jets public relations office and ask if they can get you the paint mixture code? It would be a 6 character code RRGGBB. That would give you the right color and you would need to decide metallic vs. not, You might suggest that you are a big fan. For example, a pure red car might have a code FF0000. That is the way pigments are mixed to order.
