Why wouldn't it be, what about the cars are vastly different. Just the rear trunk from a parts standpoint.

I think it's the opposite. Looks modern and much different from say an X3. All unique to the full M cars.

Tail lights would be a major cost difference.

Just referencing our back and forth comments on the pricing in another CS thread is all.

And the difference is made up by a pretty complicated 4WD system that costs more than some tailights.

Lol, i'm somewhat pre-emptively salty if this vastly undercuts the price of the CSL, or somewhat upset that the CS is no longer a value car. I'm not sure yet, we'll see how i feel when they announce the price. Based on this leak, the press release could come out tonight before the car is formally shown in Daytona.

I definitely dig the Signal Green, thats the color i'd have. Cool to see the Harmon Kardon stereo like in the M5 CS.

It looks like a junior M5 CS. Hopefully drives like one too.

Your realistically looking at a 110 base, at most 120K depending if ceramics are standard or not,

anything more wouldn't make sense

The parts are now made and trickling down, this wont have the trunk which is 20K from bmw and the taillights.

Its a m3 with some extra juice, csl cosmetic parts etc, if im wrong im wrong but my guess is steady on that 110-120K for these to make sense

considering the Jahre was like 100k, I'm going guess this thing gonna be 140 just like the csl :/ itll feel much less special imo.

Anticipate Brooklyn Gray, Black Sapphire and Frozen Pure White in addition to Signal Green. Carbon ceramic brakes are optional (not standard). And rims are offered in Frozen Gold Bronze in addition to Jet Black (exact style unknown).

I was so much hoping for rear buckets. Dissapointed. Engine wise sounds good. And all that carbon
Would prefer a Frozen Dark Grey…

Color, wheels, and brakes I believe.

Colors: Signal, BSM, Brooklyn Metallic, and Frozen White.

Wheels: Black or Bronze

Brakes: Carbon or Steel

Not sure if you have a choice of tires, though?
