Temperature gauge to Oil temp

Hi,

Does anyone know how to code the temperature gauge on the bottom right of the instrument cluster into a functional Oil temp like the real M cars?

You can get the oil temp on the idrive screen in sports displays section.

But, if you have a basic infotainment system (like me), you can display only Power and Torque.

I understand that sports display has engine temp. But i would like it to be permanently on the instrument cluster instead of a random temperature that isnt coolant temp nor engine temp.

Right now there is no way to code it. Even if you change to M combi layout it only changes the skin ontop of the temperature - from water icon to oil, but it is still the water temp showing just with the oil icon. It is only in iDrive you can find it or use an app and OBD and have it show in your mobile device.
