Cargo Area Mats?
Has anyone bought or is considering buying the All Weather Trunk Mat or the Reversible Luggage Compartment Mat for the X1? Or if 3rd party options are now available? The Shop BMW prices aren't horrible so getting ready to pull the trigger on it.

I got the OEM all weather trunk mat. Others have reported that WeatherTech doesn't have the laser measured specs yet, and I didn't want to wait. The OEM one is good quality; my only issue is that the lip by the hatch could be more flush. I wasn't aware of the reversible mat; I probably would have gotten that one if I realized it was available.

oh my... that's nice... no other color looks so nice in direct sunlight! I always drink my orange juice with a full glass of ice cubes... I'm trying to imagine pictures of a nice orange X1 covered by ice or snow. |

I am wondering if the currently available cargo mats from BMW were actually made for the 2022 model. Did you order that mat from the BMW online store or get it from your dealer? I want one as well but am confused on what I see online. Do you know the part number for that mat and the reversible one you mentioned? Thanks |

I don't really need the all-weather mats....
but as soon as my X1 arrives(hopefully soon), I will order the half-inch Lloyds LUXE mats(for front seats and the trunk area)... they are more comfortable than the carpet in my own home... not to mention making things noticeably quieter... |

X1 Reversible Cargo Mat
I got the Reversible Cargo Mat, and am happy with it.
https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/1...OMPARTMENT-MAT On the carpeted side, you can see the included "cargo-securing strips" that velcro to the carpet. |

We have this one...
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...m/51472407170/ We ended up ordering from our dealership, since the shipping cost from ECS made the price higher than ordering from the dealership at full retail and not having to pay shipping... |

I think the iX key cover should fit, looks to be the same design.

I asked my dealership about the OEM mat and he said it’s not compatible with my X1 as it has sliding seats! Seems odd that it wouldn’t work with sliding seats.

Cargo space offered with sliding seats would not be less than the normal seats. If anything you would only gain cargo space by sliding the seats forward |

the tuxmat one is actually pretty nice, it does have some creases where you can open the lower trunk space without removing the mat altogether

I have the Tuxmats and like them. My favorite is that they come with rear seat-back covers as well. Full disclosure, I am a bit of a Tuxmat fanboy given that I live in the upper Midwest and ski a lot, so I want floor/cargo protectors to capture all the sand and snow that comes with those.
