What is this icon?

I saw this icon tonight- it alternated with my profile pic. But when I tried to tap on it, nothing happened.

Looks familiar...similar icon in idrive 6. Could it be a Time Shift icon notification for Sirius or something along those lines?

EDIT: 99% sure it's the timeshift feature

It's a way to playback something at a later time when more convenient presumably. I've never used it on any of my vehicles.

It prevents your X1 from accidentally ending up in another parallel universe by making sure that your new vehicle does not cause temporal distortion to you and anyone around you.

Just kidding.... read below:

https://www.bavarianmw.com/guide-2028.html

Approx. one hour of the program being broadcast on the channel currently being listened to is stored in a buffer. Prerequisite: the signal must be available.

The stored audio track can be played with a delay following the live broadcast. When the buffer is full, the older tracks are overwritten. The buffer is cleared when a new channel is selected.

Sounds interesting. I believe I have a similar capability in my current car but have never used it. Thanks!

When Sirius is playing and you take a call or do a voice text message it'll pause the programming and resume after your done. Then you can just go into the media widget, select Sirius, and you can jump forward to current broadcasting, or even rewind further to an earlier time.

It's actually been around for sometime, believe I had this feature in one of my earlier vehicles from 2015. I think Audi or Mercedes had this feature ages ago as well
