the beige headliner matches my oyster interior much better, no? not to mention the fact that in Europe, they can order the M Sport paddle shifter steering wheel without the M Sport package. (the on in this video is the xLine trim) Last edited by bluecrabby; 12-19-2022 at 09:37 PM.. |

In the UK Beige is X-line headliner and M-Sport is Anthracite so it depends on the model you want as to what headliner you get. Sportier being the darker one so not market dependant.

Canada apparently can also get paddle shifters without M Sport

I think the last car I had with a beige/grey headliner was 2000. I guess it makes the cabin feel more spacious, but I much prefer a black headliner.

I think I must be suffering from "Europeans can order cars any way they want" envy syndrome. (n fact, have been suffering from it since I bought my first Mercedes back in 1994....

For the US market, a BMW is a purely premium/luxury brand, as such they equip cars sold here appropriately.
In Europe BMW can also be mainstream, so they have smaller engines and lower equipment options that cost less than the fully equipped ones. Last edited by saws; 12-21-2022 at 08:52 AM.. |
